Habanero's Barkerville Gold prospect is over 13,000 acres in the Barkerville Gold Camp of British Columbia, bordering Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd. (BGM -- TSX.V).
In the Barkerville Gold Camp of BC, historically 101 creeks have reported placer gold production. Recorded gold production from the area totals more than 3.8 million ounces, including an estimated 2.64 million ounces from placer mining and 1.23 million ounces from lode mining.
Drill results from Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd. (BGM -- TSX.V) returned grades of 16.5g/t over 84.4 metres and 36.1g/t over 37.5 metres Gold
